Fish tales box

The Fishtales box is made by a manufacturing method called additive fabrication. The design is inspired by underwater scenes, fish, corals and geometric shapes. The object is designed on computer in a specialised 3d design program. The design is made into a physical object by a process called sintering. The sculpture is “printed” layer by layer building up the 3d form by fusing thin layers of nylon material with a laser.
The Fishtales box was manufactured using an EOS P380 in PA 2200 Polyamide.
